Atheniensis faber ingeniosissimus, qui Phalaridi Agrigentinorum tyranno taurum ex aere fabricavit, cui ianuam in latere posuit, ut, quu m inclusus reussubiectis ignibus torqueretur, mugitum, non hominis vocem emittere videretur: pro quo inven to, cum munus a crudelissimo tyranno Phalaride, qui novis hominum tormentis delectabatur, postulasset, in eo ipse, ut eam poenam primus experiretur, includi a tyranno iussus, ac suppositis ignibus exustus est.
